Who is responsible
The data controller is the publisher of Melhor Condutor, in Portugal. Contact: [email protected].
What we measure
We count visits to find out which articles are useful: the page viewed (without URL parameters, except the campaign utm_* ones), the site you came from, clicks on links to Via Rápida and use of the tools (which tool and how many results; never what you type). We do not read anything from your device, we do not use cookies or local storage, and each page view gets a new random code that does not link your visits to each other. Logs are kept for one year, on servers in the European Union. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives each request (including your IP address and browser) in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site online and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Transfers outside the EU
The hosting and measurement providers are United States companies, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses as an additional safeguard.
What we do not do
- There are no ads, accounts or forms.
- We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and you can object to the processing. Write to [email protected]: we reply within one month. Because we do not identify you, to find records we need to know the date, time and page of the visit. You can also lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese data protection authority (cnpd.pt).
